Hand on heart, how many singer-songwriters from Italian-speaking or French-speaking Switzerland do you know? And if you were to ask for Swiss-German or Romansh artists in Geneva, how many names would be listed? Probably few! Because even if Switzerland defends and proudly presents its quadrilingualism; basically, there is little exchange between the music scenes of the different language regions! To counteract this reality, JazzChur is organising the "4x4" concert for the sixth time.

Each artist performs 4 of their own songs on this evening. One or the other song may be played alone, but then experiments are also possible and desired: a Rhaeto-Romanic singing Trummer, a French chanson by Pascal Rinaldi in which Dorotea Crameri plays on the violin, Astrid Alexandre, who suddenly sings in Italian...
