Here you will find information on the current measures against the spread of the coronavirus at the sports and event facilities in Chur. The measures at the top of the list are superordinate to the measures below.

26.06.2021

The Federal Council has allowed further relaxations for 26 June 2021. 

The obligation to wear masks from the age of twelve and the minimum distance of 1.5m will continue to apply in all indoor areas. To avoid queuing at the ticket office, we recommend that you buy your ticket online.

Pools

Indoor pool

  • Masks compulsory: also within the pool facility (except for in the water basin)

  • Children's play afternoon: in fair weather when the indoor pool closes from midday and during summer holidays, the children's play afternoon takes place from Wednesday to Sunday from 3 - 5pm in the outdoor pool. In bad weather Wednesday to Sunday from 1.30 - 5pm at the indoor pool.

The Federal Council has allowed further relaxations for 31 May 2021. We are very pleased to now be able to open all areas of the sports and event facilities.

The obligation to wear masks from the age of twelve will continue to apply in all indoor areas and in outdoor areas if the minimum distance of 1.5m cannot be maintained. There are no longer any time restrictions in the individual facilities. The number of people remains limited and there may be waiting times depending on the weather and the facility. To avoid queuing at the ticket office, we recommend that you buy your ticket online.

  • Children's play afternoon: on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, 1.30-4pm. In fine weather** when the indoor pool closes from midday, the children's play afternoon takes place in the outdoor pool.

After the Chur spring holidays, further restrictions regarding access to the indoor swimming pool will come into effect. Although the facility is open to the public as well as to schools and clubs, they are not allowed to use it at the same time. The mandatory wearing of masks from the age of twelve also applies in the indoor pool. The mask may only be removed in the water basin.

  • Saturday/Sunday/holidays, 9am - 6pm

*8am as soon as the Obere Au outdoor pool opens

In accordance with the Federal Council's decision of 14 April 2021, the following changes will take place at the Chur sports and event facilities as of Monday, 19 April:

Opening hours indoor pool complex and ticket office new: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 9.30 p.m., Saturday/Sunday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

  • The following applies in all facilities: masks compulsory in the entire indoor area (not in the swimming pools), restriction of people, 1.5m distance.
  • People born in 2000 and older: indoor pool/aquamarine, gym, group fitness, infrared cabin, solarium, massage and day-care are open again.
  • Children and youths born 2001 and younger: no changes -> unrestricted access to the open facilities (except age restriction in gym)
  • Still open to all under the existing conditions: Boccia, skate park, woodchip trail, Kneipp facility, lawn sports.
  • Still closed to all: sauna area, airdome, ice sports stadium, Khurer Gnusswaga

Combination/season passes

Passes that include the sauna are not yet valid. These passes are still paused and will be extended. Anyone with such a pass must buy a single admission at the ticket office and will receive a 20% discount. All other passes will be valid again from 19 April.
