Active in a wide variety of projects since 1993, Héloïse presents itself as the latest solo project of the Zurich-based singer and musician Sabina Leone. With her second EP "Rubbish Rubbish", she explores the limitless possibilities of making music with lustful curiosity. Her pieces emerge from multi-layered levels in which she uses loops to weave voices and drums into hypnotic rhythms. Honest, powerful and unpolished, "Rubbish Rubbish" is an adventurous journey through different genres: You can expect idiosyncratic dub, Casio pop anthems, drone-like lamentations and brilliant drum excesses.

The two artists share a moment of deep reverie and suspenseful intensity. The music of the two, meditative and dynamic at the same time, is a place of sonic encounter between different worlds. She creates imaginary places and landscapes: endless steppes, abandoned cities, inner oceans. Nothing is linear – the music unfolds as a fragmented and instinctive narrative, carried by divine and ominous chants, majestically intoned by Saadet, and by the violent, unpredictable piano textures of Anaïs Tuerlinckx. A deeply physical journey that oscillates between swirling energy, mystery and contemplation.
