Every eight years, people from all the churches of the world gather. The World Council of Churches (WCC) assembly is the world's largest gathering of Christians. It has been 54 years since the last Assembly took place in Europe. This year, the WCC will meet just a few hours away, in Karlsruhe, Germany, from 31 August to 8 September. The Office for Migration and the Worldwide Church organizes a four-day training trip to Karlsruhe, FROM 4 TO 8 SEPTEMBER. A unique opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas on an international level. Every day there are theme-centered plenary events in the form of panel discussions, films, music or artistic performances. In the middle of the congress grounds on the fairground there is a fountain. Here, visitors and delegates can deepen their knowledge in exchange, develop ideas and take input with them. Participation in the WCC in Karlsruhe is recognized by the Bündner Landeskirche as continuing education.

The events and offers of the Assembly are held in English. Basic knowledge of English is therefore required. Preparation includes addressing the theme of the assembly, as well as the WCC and its history. The date for the preparatory meeting follows.

The trip takes place from 10 people. Registration deadline: 30 June
