Inspired by New Orleans jazz, "Henry III" sounds funky and refreshing, simple and honestly played. You can feel how familiar and playful the band around Johänntgen is. The mood encourages you to sing along and dance along, but if you listen closely, you will also discover the profound and heartbreaking side of Henry, with plenty of space between the individual melodies; so that one falls into a twilight state. A state in which you reflect and process things that sit very deeply. And then it continues in the roller coaster ride: With crisp melodies and some drum rolls they make powerful steam again.
