Oog creates a lively synthesis of jazz, alternative pop, electronic and improvised music. The young, four-piece band from Lucerne moves idiosyncratically from energetic grooves to floating synthesizer soundscapes to frank spoken word interventions in English and German. Through irrepressible desire to experiment and the constant search for new sounds, the compositions are broken up again and again and redesigned: A small island is created in front of the inner eye. Interwoven climbing plants grow swiftly through the landscape. Clouds of fog carefully seek their way into the uncertain vastness. Massive waves meet rough, rugged boulders. Discover. Linger. Look.
