Although Joshua Radin never intended to perform live, there was little choice but for the first song he ever wrote, "Winter," featured the sitcom "Scrubs." He owes this to his good friend, the actor Zach Braff, who discovered and promoted Radin as a musician. The resulting enthusiasm for the song soon led to a record deal. Meanwhile, there are no less than well over two hundred films, series and commercials in which melodies by Joshua Radin can be heard. With his debut "We Were Here" Joshua Radin catapulted himself to #1 in the American iTunes charts, and his internationally acclaimed follow-up album "Simple Times" immediately cracked the UK Top 10.

With more than a billion streams and a million records sold, Radin still sees songwriting as a healing force, where acoustic eloquence and die-hard Americana storytelling are able to calm the roughest seas. His sincerity and transparency have earned him comparisons to musicians such as Elliot Smith and Paul Simon. He has sold out shows on four continents, shared the stage with artists such as Ed Sheeran and Sheryl Crow, appeared on talk shows (Ellen, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live) and even played at the request of mega-fan Ellen DeGeneres at her wedding to Portia DeRossi.
