Kulturplatz Festival Chur

On 27 August 2022, the eighth edition of the Kulturplatz Festival will take place in the Stadtgarten Chur. The program again promises a wide range of exciting, high-quality, regional and national artists. Various cultural contributions guarantee one-time direct live experiences from 13:00 to 00:00. This event is organized by the association Kulturraum Chur. The association Kulturraum Chur is committed to the creation of a cultural centre in the city of Chur, among other things with the Kulturplatz Festival.

Drinks:
The bar on the festival grounds will offer various soft drinks as well as alcoholic beverages for sale. The drinks are filled into hard plastic cups by the bar staff, as no glass bottles and aluminium cans are allowed on the premises. A deposit of CHF 2.– will be charged on the hard plastic cups.

Catering:
There will also be food stalls (also vegetarian) on the festival grounds.

Alcohol serving:
We comply with the legal regulations when serving alcoholic beverages. No serving of wine and beer under the age of 16 and no sale of spirits to under 18-year-olds. The bar staff reserves the right to carry out an age check when purchasing alcoholic beverages.

Arrival:
It is recommended to arrive by public transport, as the city park is located near the center. From the Bahnof along the Engadinstrasse (Arosa railway tracks) to Postremise. Alternatively, wia Bahnhofstrasse and then Grabenstrasse up to the level of KV-Schulhaus.

Parking:
There are paid parking spaces along Grabenstrasse. In addition, the "Stadtbaumgarten" multi-storey car park is located a 3-minute walk from the city park. The parking spaces along Fontanastrasse are reserved for supplies during the festival.

Hearing protection:
The festival is limited to a maximum volume of 96 dB (deziBel). Conventional earplugs are distributed on the premises or can be picked up at the bar.

Recycling & Environment:
Help to keep the site clean, because no one likes garbage lying around. Therefore, a deposit of CHF 2.– is charged on hard plastic cups. Upon return of the cup, this amount will be refunded. There will be enough trash cans on the premises, please use them too!

Payment:
Payment options at the bar: cash, EC & credit cards (without Postfinance) and TWINT. At the food stands only cash payment possible
