Long Saturday

On this day, the whole of Chur becomes a stage, a museum, a concert hall. For more than 15 years, around 20 different institutions have been presenting more than 90 short programmes in more than 200 individual performances from 12 noon to 3 a.m. on Long Saturday - from family performances to late night shows. And the Chur Theatre is one of them.

The Long Saturday Chur is an interdisciplinary cultural festival for all generations - on and in front of the stages. Each house curates its own programme, which reflects the entire range of regional cultural work and creates a performance basis for professionals and amateurs. The combination of high and folk culture, entertainment and stimulation, reflection and virtuosity – always conveyed at eye level – attracts broad circles far beyond the regular audience of the individual theatres and also from outside Graubünden.

15 hours of music, theatre, literature, film, comedy, exhibitions, street art, workshops, parties and much more with just one ticket! The use of the extra buses of Chur Bus is included, as is the journey home on the Rhaetian Railway – only the outward journey to Chur has to be booked.
