Looty Trio

"Looty" is what Queen Victoria called the Pekingese, who was brought to her as stolen booty from the Chinese imperial palace at the end of the Opium War. It is not known whether the little dog tried to establish his honour and that of the Chinese empire by biting his calf and deliberately defecating on Persian carpets, which were probably also stolen, or whether he opportunistically surrendered to the transfer from the Eastern to the Western nobility. We hope the former. The Looty Trio wants to play, but not only. There are no muzzles, torn from leashes we release ourselves into the wild. Not only calves are at risk, we also like to aim higher. In the process, we plunder and sharpen our tools accumulated over decades: From jazz scalpels to punk steam hammers, we use everything that gets between our lips to break chains and bark against ostentatious palaces, degrading systems and boring music.
