Rabiosa Gorge near Passugg
Description
The Rabiosa ravine in Passugg is rugged and wild. It is shaped and formed by the Rabiosa torrent, the name of which means the «raging one» in Romansch. The Rabiosa ravine is the source of five mineral springs, which provide various drinking and curative waters. The five springs in the Rabiosa ravine were first mentioned in 1562 and rediscovered in the 19th century. They became the basis of the Passugger mineral water spring, which is well-known throughout Switzerland.
