Tschiertschen - Farur - Gürgaletsch (07)

From the village centre (1343 m.a.s.l.M) of Tschiertschen, the hiking trail continues via Runcaspinas to "Furgglis" (1663 m.a.s.l.M) and on to "Alp Farur" (1940 m.a.s.l.M) and from there through the Farur Valley to the small shepherd's hut in the "Obersäss" (2204 m.a.s.l.M). From here you turn right and after a short ascent you reach the ridge depression (2297 m.a.s..M.e.) north of the «Malakoff», where the enjoyable hike along the ridge ridge to the «Stelli» (2383 m.a.s.l.M) begins, which from there continues over the south ridge to the summit of the «Gürgaletsch» (2441 m.a.s..M).

The descent can take place on the described ascent route or, as a recommendable round trip, via the "Tälli" and "Furgglis" to Tschiertschen. The descent on this route can also be combined with a visit to the mountain restaurant "Hüenerchöpf" without much additional effort. The hike to the "Gürgaletsch" can also be carried out in the opposite direction by choosing the route via the "Tälli" in the ascent from "Furgglis" and descending via "Obersäss" and "Farur".
