Coordinates 46.818274, 9.606752
From the village centre (1343 m.a.s.l.M) the trail leads through the Oberdorf, through the "Runcs" area and the holiday home area "Bödem" to the fountain in the "Clüs". From there it goes left and follows the path, slightly ascending, to the "Alpbach" (1576 m.a.s.l..M) and then a little steeper, until the turnoff into the Urdental. The Ochsenalpweg now runs practically flat along the "Bleiswald" against the "Urdenbach", which is crossed after a short incline into the "Löser" (1683 m.a.s.l.M). The path now rises along the steep mountain side under the "Weisshorn" and the striking "Güdaspitz" up to the "Gate" (1871 m.a.s.l..M). This section of the trail offers beautiful views of Tschiertschen and the Urden Valley. From the "Gatter" the trail leads flat to the "Ochsenalp" with the popular mountain restaurant (1936 m.a.s.l.M). From here you can reach Arosa (1739 m.M) on the wide hiking trail over the "Red Tritt" (2006 m.a.s.l.M, beautiful view of the rear Schanfigg).
The descent from the "Ochsenalp" to Tschiertschen on the described ascent route requires about 1 3/4 hours. As a variant for the ascent from Tschiertschen via "Clüs" to the "Löser" you can also choose the beautiful ascent over the "Ruchtobel" to the "Löser". To do this, follow the signs "Löser (via Ruchtobel)–Ochsenalp–Arosa" from the village centre in the direction of "Enderdorf".
