University of Applied Sciences Centre: the winning project
Since January 2020, the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons, the eighth university of applied sciences in Switzerland, has been independent. We currently teach and conduct research at nine locations in Chur. Our forces are now to be bundled at the Pulvermühlestrasse site. A new university of applied sciences centre is being planned for this purpose. On behalf of the Canton of Graubünden and in close cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons, the Graubünden Building Authority organised a project competition for the construction and conversion of a new university of applied sciences centre. As part of the pre-qualification, 13 general planning teams were selected to participate in the competition. The Rector of the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons, the cantonal master builder and the project authors of the winning team will show the needs, the requirements and the chosen solution proposal for the future largest construction project in the canton.
