Day-care centre
You want to swim carefree, train in the weight room or go to a group fitness lesson, but you also need to look after your children? No problem, little ones will be in good hands at the supervised ‘Ameisenland’ day-care. For babies/children from 8 months until they reach school age.
Opening hours
All year, Monday – Friday, 9 - 11 am
Exceptions:
- Public holidays: Day-care is closed.
- Revision 08.-26.06.2026: The day-care will be offered at the "Zebra" meeting room at Obere Au ice sports training stadium according to the normal schedule.
- Summer holidays 29.06.-14.08.2026: open Tuesday & Thursday, 9 - 11 am
- Winter break 24.12.2026 until and including 03.01.2027: day-care closed
- Short revision 11.-14.01.2027: day-care closed
Location
The day-care is located in the basement of the indoor swimming pool building: Please go through the turnstile to the indoor swimming pool, then directly down the stairs and to the right through the changing rooms. The day-care is located behind them.
Price
CHF 3.50 with ChurCard / CHF 5.- without ChurCard per child per hour
A reservation is necessary for the day care. Please kindly make your reservation until 6pm on the previous day via our ticketshop. Make reservation and buy ticket now
The day-care is included for your own children with the AU DABI-pass. The child is free of charge if the parent dropping the child off at the day-care is an AU DABI pass holder.

Rules
Age: Children from 8 months until they reach school age. Children of school age are not looked after.
