In the subsequent procession, the abiding presence of Christ in the sacrament is celebrated. The body of Christ in the form of the consecrated host is carried under the canopy through the decorated streets of Ems, accompanied by the faithful and the Cumpagnia da mats, Musica da Domat and the Baselga choir. At four stations, the Gospel is heard, intercessions are held and an altar song is sung.
