Ensemble Lyrix - OBSCURA

The newly founded Ensemble Lyrix, consisting of Nora Bertogg (soprano), Isabel Goller (harp) and Zoltán Despond (cello), met in 2012 while studying at the Zurich University of the Arts. The union of voice, cello and harp opens up unknown worlds of sound and inspires new repertoire. The ensemble deliberately relies on its own arrangements in order to explore previously undiscovered pieces for this unique line-up and thus continuously break new musical ground. As part of the scenic song recital OBSCURA, the Ensemble Lyrix presents music of the 20th and 21st centuries as well as a world premiere by Ryan Latimer. The project is staged by Austrian director Sarah Scherer.
