"Being 'Protestant' – with singing and instrument"

Andreas Marti is one of the greats of his field in Switzerland, one who has a music degree and a theology degree under his belt. It is unique how he discovers "Protestant identity" – in the ecumenical sense – in musical compositions!

He became internationally known for his hymnology textbook "Kirchenlied und Gesangbuch", which was published in several editions in Göttingen. He was also editor of the magazine Musik und Gottesdienst and to this day musical director of the Berner Singstudenten.
