In 2024, the organ of the Regulakirche in Chur was thoroughly overhauled. The instrument, which dates back to 1745 and has been rebuilt several times, has been refreshed without any significant interventions in the substance. Nevertheless, the second evening of the Chur organ concerts has a bit of the character of an inauguration. "House organist" Stephan Thomas has opted for a programme from the early 19th century, the time when the regula organ underwent a fundamental redesign. Pieces by Martin Vogt, Samuel Wesley, Johann Nepomuk Hummel and Alexandre Pierre François Boëly will be performed.

Admission is free, a collection will be charged.

In the small group we immerse ourselves in the soothing forest atmosphere. The course instructor Susanna Roffler accompanies the mindfulness exercises such as walking meditation, conscious breathing, creative and playful individual/couple and group exercises. He grew up in Chur. He was in the service of the Graubünden cantonal police for 25 years. In his work as SAC tour guide of the Rhaetia section, he accompanies people into the beautiful nature of Graubünden. He is also parish president of the Catholic parish of Chur. Robert Willi talks about his exciting life with beautiful and challenging times.

Mrs. Emerita Valaulta-Gliott exhibits her paintings in the GalariaBurgaisa on the 1st floor of the Sentupada Church and Cultural Center.
The exhibition runs until 31 May 2025 (exception: closed on 29 May 2025) and is open from Thursday to Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment.

Philipp Gurt was born in 1968 as the seventh of eight children of a poor mountain farming family in Graubünden and grew up in various children's homes. Gurt wrote short stories as a teenager, followed by his first novel at the age of twenty. He has always had an intimate relationship with nature, which was also to shape his highly atmospheric writing. His connection to the canton of Graubünden, where he still lives today as a freelance writer, can be felt in each of his novels.

What does being queer mean as a young person today? In this book, 15 children and adolescents who move outside of classic gender stereotypes talk about their lives: the elementary school child who knows exactly that he is a girl, even though everyone thinks he is a boy. The gay teenager in the countryside who is isolated at school and finds like-minded people in the chat. And the non-binary activist who confidently carries her "false sexuality" to the outside world.

Christina Caprez is a sociologist and historian, was an editor at Radio SRF 2 Kultur and now works as a freelance journalist and author. She lives near Zurich.

Escaping everyday school life, Luka, Ursina and Mevina try to rediscover, unfold and complement their voices with the ballads and folk songs from the islands. Combined with the sounds of Ursina's violin and Mirj's harp and guitar, lively, light music is created that enchants and sweeps you away.
