One sector, six inhabitants, one voice that protects everyone. K.I.N.G., the artificial intelligence, ensures security and entertainment. Outside is darkness. Danger. Certain death. The last survivors of the Great Fear are spread across the world in small groups and networked thanks to K.I.N.G. Their everyday life is fulfilled: producing content, consuming content. But when an unexpected mistake disrupts the routine, the questions begin to grow. Is there any truth beyond K.I.N.G.'s words?

A biting speculation about digital dependence and against the disappearance of the analogue imagination.

The spring exhibition is dedicated to woodcuts - a cross-section of prints from the last 120 years or so by Giovanni Giacometti, E. L. Kirchner, Hermann Scherer, Paul Camenisch, Albert Müller, Martha Cunz, Philippe Bauknecht, Georg Peter Luck, Bruno Gentinetta, Emil Hungerbühl, Renato Oggier, Per Kirkeby and many more. The exhibition is complemented by two works on loan from the Franz Gertsch Museum, as well as works by contemporary artists Gian Häne and Ruth Pleschko.

Philipp Fankhauser's Something tour starts on March 7, 2025 with the record launch at the Theater National Bern. His new album "Ain't That Something" will be released on the same day. We are thrilled with the new songs. Listening to it has never been as worthwhile as it is with this album. Accompanied by his five traditional musicians, the Philipp Fankhauser concerts are always a mixture of popular songs and new music.

Join the choir fémina's under the direction of Andrés Heredia on a musical journey through different countries of our world. We start with songs from England, Andalusia, Germany, Poland, Iceland and Africa. After a break, we return to Switzerland and dedicate ourselves to Swiss songs in the four national languages. The concerto will be sung a cappella.

The renowned Bernese brothers with roots in Graubünden present both cello concertos written by Dmitri Shostakovich and thus a concert evening full of intensity and drama. The dancing virtuosity of the first concerto (Patrick Demenga) contrasts with the darkness and depth of the second (Thomas Demenga). Together, the two works provide a fascinating insight into the emotional world of the great Russian composer during the thaw period after Stalin's death. The concert evening will open with Igor Stravinsky's Pulcinella Suite from the neoclassical ballet of the same name, based on a Neapolitan story.

Shrill punk meets full orchestral sound! The renowned Swiss singer/songwriter Bonaparte ignites a crossover firework together with the Chamber Philharmonic under the direction of Droujelub Yanakiew. At the two summer concerts at the Liug Innovation Centre, works by Gabriel Fauré and the Swiss composer Arthur Honegger will be combined with the highly expressive music of Bonaparte to create a unique show that will musically explore the entire spectrum of human emotions.
