"Sometimes I think that the smaller you are, the bigger the desires. I'm very, very small." That's what Rosa, the mouse, says. For example, she doesn't want to be alone because she's scared. And so she walks through the bars into the enclosure of Rigo, the big leopard, of all places: the start of an unusual but rather thick friendship.

The family theatre "Rigo and Rosa" is about trust, friendship and confidence. But also about fear, saying goodbye and big questions. And they don't always need an answer, Rigo thinks: "Some questions are like the beginning of a journey. You go out with your eyes and ears open and go from one question to the next. Keep going!" And so hopefully the play will leave a lasting impression on all visitors.

The play "Rigo and Rosa" is based on the children's book of the same name. With the tender language of Lorenz Pauli and the expressive images of illustrator Kathrin Schärer, it won the Swiss Children's and Young People's Media Prize in 2017. Actor Pascal Illi makes his debut as a director with this anda events production.

The exhibition "Attenzione Residua" examines the fragile nature of perception – the moment when attention becomes an intense focus before it turns into distraction.

The works on display are fragments of an incomplete perceptual system – they oscillate between concentration and dissolution, between structure and decay. Material Assemblages, sculptural fragments and a video that plays with hyperfocus and visual disintegration challenge visitors to become aware of their own perception. What remains in the moment of seeing – and what inevitably slips away?

Pipes, keys, buttons, winding corridors – the organ is a fantastic creature that fascinates young and old. It is precisely the view into the interior, which is only possible on special occasions, that reveals the extraordinary diversity and complexity of this organism. During the guided tour of the St. Martin's organ, children can play the organ, take a short trip into the belly of the instrument, blow into organ pipes and much more. Parents are also welcome.

with chamber music. The alphorn player Priska Walss and the
Organist Andrea Paglia.

Walss is known to the audience as a long-time horn player of the Kammerphilharmonie
Graubünden; Paglia from Verona has been
Organist of the Reformed Church Männedorf.

The Chur programme mainly includes Swiss composers,
Carl Rütti with pieces from his "Suite pastorale" and
Jean Daetwyler with the "Suite montagnarde". To continue to sound
the «Cathedral suite» by Gordon Young and the «Alphorn ballad»
by Dennis Armitage. Finally, Priska Walss improvises for the
Topic "Spring Awakening".

Organ, Singing and Wine

The "Organ and Wine" format takes place every year as part of the Chur Organ Concerts. This year it has been expanded to "Organ, Singing and Wine", as the soprano Johanna Heim works alongside the "house organist" Stephan Thomas. The wines that are sung about and played are those of Uwe Schneider from Zizers, whose bottles, which are still too little known, have struck us extremely positively. The mediation between wine and music is provided by Stephan Thomas, who works as a wine journalist in addition to his musical activities. Following the concert part, the tasting of the wines will take place as usual in the Antistitium (Kirchgasse 12).

In 2024, the organ of the Regulakirche in Chur was thoroughly overhauled. The instrument, which dates back to 1745 and has been rebuilt several times, has been refreshed without any significant interventions in the substance. Nevertheless, the second evening of the Chur organ concerts has a bit of the character of an inauguration. "House organist" Stephan Thomas has opted for a programme from the early 19th century, the time when the regula organ underwent a fundamental redesign. Pieces by Martin Vogt, Samuel Wesley, Johann Nepomuk Hummel and Alexandre Pierre François Boëly will be performed.

For its latest exhibition, the Cantonal Hospital of the Grisons has invited the glass artist Hubert Crevoisier to set up his studio in the hospital for a few days a year. Crevoisier, a magician of light, uses his art of coloured glass to create spaces where he invites patients and staff for an hour "on prescription". And that is to look over the artist's shoulder, to talk or to remain silent, to work on his own sculpture or the joint work, so that mind and emotions open up when words no longer know what to do.

On May 14, 5:15 p.m., the Art Commission invites you to the opening of the studio Hubert Crevoisier @ KSGR. The exhibition will run until 19 March 2026.
