Ondrej Valenta was elected as the new cathedral organist at Prague's St. Vitus Cathedral in 2024. Under the title "Cathedral Sounds from Golden Prague", he will play works by Bach, Handel, Dvorak and Smetana at this year's Chur Cathedral Organ Summer. The organs of Chur Cathedral are among the most interesting and also among the most unusual organs in Switzerland. The venerable cathedral invites you to linger and listen.

André Gold, cultural worker, conductor, organist, church musician in the Altötting and Munich area, will be a guest at the Chur Cathedral Organ Summer 2025. His concert program "Crossroads" deliberately combines the old with the new, so works by Liszt and Brahms meet improvisations by the performer. Cathedral Music Director Andreas Jetter (Chur) will play works by both composers on the cathedral organs on the theme of "340 Years of Bach & Handel", but also works by other composers that were created as homages to Bach or Handel (Alexandre Guilmant, Hermann Schellenberg, Arno Landmann and others). Joachim B. Schmidt, born in 1981, grew up in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, emigrated to Iceland in 2007. His novels are bestsellers and have received many awards, including the Crime Cologne Award and most recently the Glauser Prize. The dual citizen lives in Reykjavík with his wife and two children.

Our repertoire includes a dynamic mix of rock and ska, true to our motto: "Play to Party". We play our own, energetic songs as well as well-known cover songs that make everyone dance. With our music, we guarantee that the party never stands still.

An evening full of music and enjoyment! Experience a musical summer evening at the Kulturpunkt with the trio Bettina Gysin (saxophone), Ulrich Hauser (piano) and Tobias Leutenegger (double bass). Under the motto "Jazz standards and more", the three passionate musicians present a versatile repertoire - from swing classics to bossa nova to funk and pop sounds.

The focus is on the joy of making music together - tangible, audible and contagious.
