Public guided tour of the special exhibition

For centuries, Grisons went to war for foreign powers in the hope of a better life, wealth or adventure. The Rhaetian Museum is dedicating the special exhibition "Profession: Mercenaries – Grisons in Foreign Services" to these fates. Where in the world did the mercenaries end up, what did they experience there and did they return home as made men? The exhibition sheds light on the war business from a socio-historical and economic perspective. Curator Jürg Spichiger and designer Beat Stalder have revised the exhibition, which has already been shown at the Nidwalden Museum, for Graubünden.
