Death greys for funeral feasts

Josef Edenhofer, local brewery and landowner. He has made it to a considerable fortune in his life. But even this did not save him from the last course that lies ahead of us all. On the evening of his funeral, the collected mourning community comes together in the local inn to revive Josef's cheerful nature. When telling one or the other anecdote of the deceased, the unbelievable suddenly happens. A shot! A loud outcry! One of the mourners collapses bleeding. Fortunately, a doctor is among the invitees, but also the pathologist Ulrike Biop-Sien can only determine the death of the shot victim. A murder at the funeral feast? Who is so tasteless and commits such a piety crime?

Chief Commissioner Anselm Grabengräber is immediately on the spot. Known for his sophistication and stubbornness, Anselm begins to investigate and leaves no suspicion unobserved. With the indirect help of the diligent pathologist, the two come across surprising clues that raise question after question. Did Josef Edenhofer perhaps not die a natural death after all?

The course menu is served by the gastronomic team in the klein.waldegg which will guarantee tickle for nerves and palate. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. the event begins.

The theatre life in Chur became an integral part around 1864 in the Postremise Chur and a little later by the Grande Dame Minna Senges-Faust in the Casino Saal on Kornplatz. A sensation was only a few years later in the 20th century the premiere of Bertolt Brecht's "Antigone" in the former Theater im Rätushof. Let the year end on Chur's local mountain. Whether special New Year's Eve menu or rustic fondue fun: The mountain restaurants Bergbaiz, Malixerhof, Battagliahütte and Edelweisshütte offer a great ambience for a cozy evening with friends and family.

If there is enough snow, the traditional tobogganing also takes place. Sledges can be rented at the Chur Bergbahnen.

The cable car ticket costs CHF 20 for adults and CHF 10 for children (up to and including 12 years) and is valid from 5 pm for unlimited journeys until 2 am.
Registration: An early reservation in the restaurants is recommended.
