YULI stands for timeless design, careful workmanship and genuine craftsmanship. In the studio in Tamins, dresses, bags and pictures are created - designed, sewn and embroidered by Anna Laura. She works with certified fabrics and leather from the Graubünden high hunt - consciously, resource-efficiently and with a lot of dedication.

At the centre of her work is the Graubünden cross stitch – a traditional embroidery technique that Anna Laura continues to live on in a new form with great dedication.

On 28 June, Anna Laura will open her studio in Tamins – for insights, encounters and personal conversations.
On 2 July, she will show how she works with Graubünden cross-stitch at the Safiental Embassy in Chur – and invite you to try it out and embroider together.

What is a lithograph or how is an etching created? Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of printmaking

The Druckwerkstatt Schloss Haldenstein promotes traditional printmaking and offers artists cost-effective access to classic printing techniques. Every year, eight to ten exciting courses and workshops are offered, which are aimed at members and all printing enthusiasts. The printing workshop is located in historic surroundings, in the middle of Haldenstein Castle.

On June 28 from 4 to 5 p.m., the Haldenstein Castle Printing Workshop will demonstrate how an original print is created.

Hats and caps have always protected us against sun, wind, rain and cold. Look over the shoulder of a milliner at work and discover the variety of materials in her collection.

The hat studio KOPFFORM has been in existence in Chur for 17 years. The milliner Verena Philipp makes hats and caps to measure with great attention to detail. Rabbit hair felts, exotic straw and fine textiles are used to create customer requests and own creations, from everyday hats to fascinators for Ascot.

Protagonists from the environment of the Klibühni and JazzChur will create an abstract work of art on five evenings in June 2025. The human brain, Latin Cerebrum, plays the main role and serves as the starting point for an artistic-creative debate: nerves, tissues and synapses inspire historical, philosophical, psychological or humorous considerations; conveyed in the form of sounds, words, images and movements.

Exquisite Arts ends on Saturday, June 21, 2025, with a review by illustrator Pia Valär and presenter Katharina Balzer. They reflect on their experiences and insights in the Klibühni, musically framed by the trio Rrrrr'.

Exquisite Arts is as powerful and overwhelming as our brain: an experience for short-term memory, but stored as a memory for eternity.

A cooperation between Klibühni, Das Theater and JazzChur

The anniversary exhibition "From Here" focuses on the collection of the Bündner Kunstmuseum, shows specific peculiarities and develops perspectives for the future.
In 1900, the Bündner Kunstverein began to build up an art collection. The collection now comprises around 8000 works from all areas of the visual arts from the 18th century to the present day and reflects the media diversity of artistic creation. Since its foundation, it has developed from the specific cultural situation of Graubünden: this includes the imprint of the mountain landscape as well as the interplay of emigration and tourism. Artists come and go, carry the special into the world and bring the world to Graubünden. The history of art in Graubünden is characterised by various formative figures and movements that have led to special focal points in the collection. The aim is to keep the historically grown collection independent and unmistakable. To this end, the existing focal points are to be maintained and expanded and new accents are to be set.
The anniversary exhibition "From here" extends over the entire museum with both houses (Villa Planta and the extension). The focus is on the highlights of the collection as well as the new acquisitions of recent years, which have expanded the collection's profile. A special focus of the exhibition is the perspective into the future: "From here" does not only mean anchoring on site, but also wants to show in which direction the museum collection can be expanded. To this end, loans are specifically requested and works are commissioned.
