How did the automobile and architecture influence each other? Simon Berger, Head of the Graubünden Monument Preservation, will explain this in his lecture. The event will take place as part of the special exhibition "Attention car! A Century on the Streets of Graubünden".

As part of the special exhibition "Attention car! A Century on the Streets of Graubünden" at the Rhaetian Museum, the authors Simon Bundi and Flurina Graf present the hot-off-the-press ikg publication on the topic. Jürg Hartmann also talks about his mobility biography, which can also be read in the book.

To kick off the 2nd edition of Design am Rhein, the kick-off symposium will take place at the Chur laboratory. Designers will present insights into their way of thinking, processes, inspiration and give an outlook on the Design am Rhein programme

How does congestion occur and how does it affect people's lives? In this panel discussion, Cantonal Councillor Carmelia Maissen, the mayor of Rhäzüns Reto Loepfe and traffic jam researcher Lukas Ambühl will talk about the causes and combating traffic congestion.

His novels have been translated into more than 35 languages. With over 4 million books sold worldwide, he is currently one of the most successful German-language authors. Akiko's Long Journey" is the second part of his series about a young woman in modern Japan who is searching for her roots.

YULI is a Graubünden design studio where everything revolves around Graubünden cross-stitch. All creations are created in the YULI Atelier in Graubünden.

YULI stands for timeless design, careful workmanship and genuine craftsmanship. In the studio in Tamins, dresses, bags and pictures are created - designed, sewn and embroidered by Anna Laura. She works with certified fabrics and leather from the Graubünden high hunt - consciously, resource-efficiently and with a lot of dedication.

At the centre of her work is the Graubünden cross stitch – a traditional embroidery technique that Anna Laura continues to live on in a new form with great dedication.

On 28 June, Anna Laura will open her studio in Tamins – for insights, encounters and personal conversations.
On 2 July, she will show how she works with Graubünden cross-stitch at the Safiental Embassy in Chur – and invite you to try it out and embroider together.

What is a lithograph or how is an etching created? Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of printmaking

The Druckwerkstatt Schloss Haldenstein promotes traditional printmaking and offers artists cost-effective access to classic printing techniques. Every year, eight to ten exciting courses and workshops are offered, which are aimed at members and all printing enthusiasts. The printing workshop is located in historic surroundings, in the middle of Haldenstein Castle.

On June 28 from 4 to 5 p.m., the Haldenstein Castle Printing Workshop will demonstrate how an original print is created.
