Description

After the start in Scuol, follow mountain bike route no. 1. The ascent to the mountain village of S-charl starts in the forest with a few steep ramps. Here the surface is still asphalted and the metres in altitude quickly melt away. Shortly afterwards, the forest thins out at Sasstaglia, tarmac is replaced by gravel and the view opens up into the valley. The Clemgia river flows down the bumpy gorge on the right. The stage starts in the tranquil village of Castrisch. You first follow the official Rhine Veloroute No. 3, which is only slightly uphill - perfect for taking it easy on your legs.
